Hanson & Doremus Investment Management needed more room for its growing business, but its existing space in the historic Maltex Building offered few opportunities to grow. The solution: FFF designed an all-new layout that completely transformed the firm’s existing office space.

The innovative plan converted a little-used storage room into usable space and moved the reception area and a meeting room to a more client-friendly location with a more prominent entrance. The new layout affords more privacy for confidential client meetings while maintaining the historic character of the 150-year-old building. Key spaces were reserved for the owner’s striking art collection, which features both local artwork and global treasures.
