Housed within Morrill Hall on the Vermont Tech campus, the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) provides both students and area businesses access to the latest manufacturing technologies. The lab features state-of-the-art equipment for several industrial processes including design digitalization, metal and polymer additive 3D printing, advanced machining, EDM processes, heat treatment, post-processing, metrology, and metallurgy.

The new lab combines several existing labs into one open space and adds new exterior bay doors. The project also required significant upgrades to mechanical and fire protection systems and new building security.

The Advanced Manufacturing Center allows businesses to test new technologies while giving students the opportunity to learn directly from industry leaders. The result is a more competitive manufacturing sector with the talent and technology required to succeed in a rapidly changing market.
