Concord Hospital Medical Group

When Concord Hospital sought to better serve its patients in nearby rural communities, they partnered with DEW Construction and Freeman French Freeman to design and build a new medical office building in Penacook, New Hampshire.

The project involved constructing a new, 9,700 medical office building with Penacook Family Physicians as the primary tenant. A second 5,500 sf shell, to be finished once leased or sold, shares the property.

Patients enter into a welcoming reception area finished in soft, warm hues and featuring natural wood accents. The color scheme continues throughout the building, which includes 18 exam rooms, conference and break rooms, and an on-site medical lab.

The building also features many individual and group office spaces that were jointly designed by the architect, building owner and tenant to maximize efficiency and collaboration between doctors, nurses, and support staff.
